  • Proserv have many subject matter experts that can be utilized to make a difference for our customers.
  • Digital dashboards is not something most of our customers want, they want a system learning what good is and giving an alert if something starts to drift towards “not good”.
  • In projects with Equinor, Hess, and Total we have received the same feedback. Make a system that will reduce the amount of resources required in a proactive way.
  • A lot of technical solutions available on the market can generate dashboards and connectivity; we are now co-operating with Intelligent Plant for the cloud framework.
  • To sell Optimization software is challenging because operators have internal teams developing separate frameworks and they have a strong connection to the OEMs.
  • We will focus primarily on Edge solutions as the first stage, several options are available to bolt on from a cloud perspective.

  • All OEMs use standard fiber optical communication concepts from the telecom industry.
  • Proserv have delivered a few projects with fiber optical communication using technology delivered by MOOG and Sixnet.
  • Proserv have to integrate and test products with partners to cover longer distance and be ready for projects with a high data demand. No major development required but testing and configuration capabilities have to be implemented on longer distances >100km.

    What is required to grow the topside part of our offering
  • The topside control market is price sensitive and to compete our offering has to be competitive.
  • Project TOP is an internal initiative to make our products more competitive. We have improved engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to make this a success.
  • Digitalization (AEGIS) is also an important part to move this forward in the Middle East.
  • No technology gaps identified; this is mainly cost, supply chain, and effective manufacturing.
  • We utilize the same resources as will be required for the Hydrogen initiative.
