Phase Volume Sampling Overview
The Guided Wave Radar technology confirms individual phase volumes sampled at flowline P & T. Sub-sampling of the individual phases is possible through knowing the volume of each individual phase captured.
Sub-sampling Process
Specially designed take-off ports which can then be sub-sampled for analysis as required – Composition, Density, Viscosity, Relative permittivity etc.
The pressurised oil sample, which gives the live oil composition in the multiphase flowline, can be analysed essentially like a single-phase sample.
The PVT sample of the gas phase can also be analysed, then recombination can then be conducted to obtain the total composition of the flow.

Once an instrument is chosen from the modern drop-down list, the page displays a comprehensive collection of configured data and calculated uncertainties. Live process data is presented in a dedicated drop-down at the top, ensuring the values shared by multiple instruments remain centralised and are not duplicated.

The Trending / Historical data page is a robust tool that lets users track any calculated uncertainty, including component uncertainties – not just mass flow and standard volume flow. User can add or remove uncertainties from the trend list and select a custom timeframe or use quick filters for the previous month, three months, or twelve months. Additionally, clicking on any datapoint displays the corresponding process data as a vertical black line at that specific time.
